The Golden Generation Group meet at Whiterose Community Hall, 112 Caroline St, Parkhead on a fortnightly basis.

The group consists of tenants from sheltered housing complexes and individuals members of the community from around the East End of Glasgow and the wider East End.The group have participated in a variety of activities, for example: crafts, bingo, tea dances and day trips. A light lunch is also provided for the group.

Every second Monday, the group come together to be met by the lovely Mary Griffin and Isobel Gilmour who happily help organise the bric-a-brac stall for the session. The proceeds provide raffle prizes (free) for the rest of the group, which is drawn at the end of each session.

The group happily encourage new people to come along and join in on the fun.
