Big Lottery Fund - 2014 Communities
Playbusters were successful in receiving funding from the Big Lottery 2014 toward the Connecting Generations Commonwealth Games Fitness Challenge
Aims of the programme:
- 20 older people and 20 young people to participate in four sporting/physical activities.
- Bring generations together through 4 main activities: Table Tennis, Carpet Bowls, Badminton and Salsasize.
- To introduce participants to varied range of activities to increase their fitness levels.
- Breaking down the territorial barriers.
- Raise awareness of the Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow 2014.
